Biological Hazards
These programs provide general knowledge about
working safely in environments where biological
hazards may be encountered.
OSHA
and the CDC have issued guidelines and regulations
for educating people exposed to such hazards,
which include training in epidemiology, methods
that prevent or reduce exposure, biohazard labels,
signs, container “color-coding” and
dealing with exposure incidents.
