Gas phase chrormatography
Liquid phase chromatography
A length of tube filled with a stationary phase and used for chromatographic separations.
There are two types of columns : the capillary tubes for gas chromatography and wider diameter tubes used for liquid chromatography.
Capillary tube
Very low diameter tubing, e.g. used in gas chromatography.
A chromatographic method in which the solid stationary phase is maintained in a tube held vertically.
The mobile phase progresses by gravity or under pressure.
Microscale liquid chromatography.
Macroscale liquid chromatography.
