NMR Spectroscopy

NMR: Abbreviation of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.

A spectroscopic technique which exploits the resonance in transitions between nuclear spin levels under the influence of an external magnetic field.

NMR spectroscopy, which can be applied to 1H, 13C , 19F, 31P and many other nuclei with a spin quantum number of one half, is a technique which is central to the study of the molecular structures.
