An instrument for measuring the potential difference between two electrodes. It provides the means of carrying out titrations by manually or automatically recording the variation of the potential of an electrode compared to a reference electrode when a specific reagent is added.

A method of following the course of a titration using the measurement of the variation of the potential of a specific electrode compared to a reference electrode as a function of added reagent.
