A means of heating samples to temperatures lower than 80°C.
It can simply consist of a large crystallising dish filled with water which is placed on an electric hotplate equipped with a thermostat.
More usually it consists of an electrically heated metal container fitted with a thermostat. Such equipment can afford single access or multiple access.
