Vacuum line
Horizontal tube, generally made of glass and equipped with taps and sockets to attach vessels to, which can be evacuated.
The vacuum in the line is maintained by a vacuum pump and traps remove unwanted solvents and vapours so that they do not contaminate the pump oil.
